First "Real" Bike Ride

We took this picture today right after DH adjusted the seat and handlebars. We took cover behind the equipment shed (thus the big shadow on the ground). That was the only safe place to be with the wind gusting at 30 mph! Geez, hang on to something. Mac did not ride too far for fear of being blown over on her new bike by the wind. She is sporting her new helmet, too. What a huge pain it was to get it adjusted to fit her correctly. The new rule; the helmet has to be on in order to ride. She is still not too steady on her bike and I am afraid she is going to crash and burn. We all know how many visits she has already had to the E.R. at her modest age of 7!
