My Something Creative for the Day
Last month I worked on Mother's Day and Father's Day cards. I saw some cute ideas when looking through my Creating Keepsakes card idea magazine. Well, last night I was looking through the normal mag for June that came in the mail yesterday. I saw 2 really cute cards. So I marked the pages and decided I would attempt it when I had time. Well, I am working on laundry and other house stuff...and I busted my bootie yesterday cleaning...so I decided I needed to use my new creative area. So I am posting the Father's Day card I made for my husband. The other card I made will still get some use, I will have MacKenzie give it to Wayne. I will take a pic of it later and post probably tomorrow- since this is my post for the day. I invited my parents out for dinner, and I need to start getting prepared and laundry finished, etc.

Is the paper sewing machine working now? I am so so so jealous of the time to you are finding to get cards done...and they are all so cute! Way to go girl.
Yet again, I pulled out the paper sewing machine, and said a little prayer. At first it looked like it was going to work, but since there is no bobbin underneath, the thread keeps pulling out! I can't figure out how to keep it from unwinding- yes it seems like it would be soooo simple, but it is not. So I now have a "special" paper needle for my regular sewing machine!
Bring it with you, we will make it work one way or another!
