New refrigerator
In Madras we recently got a Sears Retail Dealer. How nice! We have purchased a few things from there- so much more convenient than driving the hour to Bend, when we don't have enough time in the day! So I Went yesterday with Mac and Gabe to look @ fridges. I came home with the choices very well narrowed. Wayne went with me. It was a toss-up between 2. We had to go back to the new house to measure something (yes, I did suggest we do it before we went to town- but no, too easy). Then there was a problem so Wayne was not able to go back with me. "Honey, pick whatever one you want, it's really ok with me." LOL! The one I wanted was $1319 after all rebates and the one he wanted was $900 after all rebates. So I called my mom- "get decent, I'll be there in 7 minutes to pick you up." Jeni came along. Mom went with Wayne, and Jeni with me. Mom, "you could buy a chair with the money." Jeni, "You'll probably never get another new fridge, so get what you want." Thanks Jeni :) And Wayne showed up for dinner and the Beavers game- he was not surprised which one I got! :) This fridge was supposed to be $1749 and after all is said and done, we will have paid $1319. Not too bad- but not as good as the other one, however, this is the one I wanted and it had 1 additional feature I NEEDED, LOL!!!
